Earn your screen time.
Invest in what matters; earn the time you spend on what doesn't. Time Pact turns time spent on good habits into earned time for the apps that usually eat your day.
Coming soon on Google PlayFree for 30 days, then $29.99 a year — that's the whole price.
How it works
A pact is a trade you set yourself.
Reading earns screen time, workouts earn TV, practice earns gaming. Any habit you want more of, traded at a ratio you choose, for any indulgence you want less of.
-
1
Make a pact.
Pair a habit with an indulgence and set the exchange rate — 1:1, 2:1, whatever feels fair.

-
2
Invest time.
Run the built-in timer while you read, train, or practice — or log time by hand. Every entry is labeled with how it was recorded.

-
3
Spend it without guilt.
The balance you earned unlocks the apps you put behind the pact, and you can always see what's left.

When the balance runs out
Out of time? Earn more.
Put your distracting apps behind a pact and Time Pact holds the door once the balance hits zero. No lecture, no lockout theater — the block screen simply offers the way back: earn a little more and the door reopens.
No streaks to lose. No punishments. Your balance never resets overnight — time you earn stays yours until you spend it. Step away for a week and nothing breaks; the pact just waits.
Honest by design
An honest ledger.
Time Pact never pretends to verify you. The timer is a ritual, not a proctor. Manual entries are welcome and labeled. The monthly recap shows your earning mix — so the one person who matters can see how the pact is really going.
It's a commitment device: you are both sides of the deal.
Permissions and privacy
Nothing leaves your device.
App blocking works through two Android permissions you grant explicitly: usage access, to see which app is in the foreground, and display over other apps, to show the block screen. They are used for nothing else.
Data leaves your phone only when you choose — a bug report you send, an export you make. Read the privacy policy — it's short and in plain language.

Questions
Asked and answered.
How is this different from Digital Wellbeing?
Digital Wellbeing sets daily limits that reset at midnight whether you did anything or not. Time Pact ties your screen time to time you invest in your own habits: the balance is earned, it never resets, and blocking is something you opt into pact by pact. When time runs out the door isn't locked — earning more always reopens it.
Does it really block apps?
Yes — on Android, Time Pact holds the door on apps you put behind a pact, using the two permissions you grant explicitly. When the balance hits zero, the block screen offers the way back: earn more, or take a recorded pause that shows up honestly in your monthly recap.
Do you show ads or sell my data?
No and no. There are no ads, no analytics, no trackers, and no accounts — your data lives in a local database on your device. The subscription is the business model; you are the customer, not the product.
What happens when I run out of earned time?
Nothing dramatic. The block screen appears for apps behind the pact and offers to let you earn a little more. No streaks are lost, nothing resets overnight, and time you've earned stays yours until you spend it. Step away for a week and the pact just waits.
Is it on iPhone?
Android first. An iOS version is planned — the app is built on a cross-platform foundation from day one — but there's no date to promise yet.
What does it cost?
$29.99 a year after a 30-day free trial — the entire price list. No monthly tier, no lifetime upsell, no coin packs. Billing runs through Google Play, and canceling there takes effect at the end of the paid period.
